PastaMania – Singapore’s largest Italian restaurant chain was awarded the “Best Italian Casual Dining Restaurant,” on 14 August 2014, by That’s Shanghai, a popular lifestyle and F&B magazine that is distributed primarily in Greater China to both local and expatriate readers. Now in its 12th iteration, That’s Shanghai Magazine celebrates the best and brightest of the city’s restaurants as chosen by their readers.

PastaMania debuted in Shanghai in 2013 at Pudong Lujiazui, Super Brand Mall and Puxi Xujiahui, Metro-city Mall. “We know we have the right formula for Shanghai from the feedback given by our customers. We have the most extensive pasta menu in town. Our focus is on offering authentic Italian pasta cuisine to the expatriates and Chinese consumers. We were told by our customers that besides the Italian Piazza store design elements, they loved our chunky minced Beef Bolognese, the very flavorful Prawn Aglio, the crunchy Bacon Cheesy Crumble and our signature desserts such as Wafflelicous, Panna Cotta, Banana and Blueberry Crostata,” said Mr Wilson Lim, Executive Director (International Business).

2 Moving forward, PastaMania is looking at accelerating its footprints in China and beyond. Immediately in the pipeline, the third corporate store will be launched in Q4 2014 at the bustling Raffles City Shanghai mall in Huangpu district. This will be ensued by more stores in the Jingan district, Changning district, Wujiaochang area and others. In addition, PastaMania is tying up with potential franchise partners in other major cities of China.
