- Responsible for forecasting customer demand, managing inventory levels, and coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Balance supply and demand effectively and optimize inventory holding while minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
- Work out a forecast with reference to historical sales trends and upcoming promotion activities
- Purchase order placement and order tracking
- Communicates with customers on inventory risk, slow-moving and obsolete inventories.
- Follow up with the supplier on invoice and credit notes on claimable damaged/rejected products
- Maintain system for new product creation, price updates and etc.
- Generate weekly & monthly reports for customers & management.
- Identify opportunities to enhance demand and supply planning processes and systems
- Support any ad hoc requests and any other duties assigned by the Management or Reporting Officer
Requirements:
- Diploma/Certificate in supply chain management, logistics, business, or any related field.
- Proven experience in demand planning, supply planning, or inventory management.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis and demand forecasting techniques.
- Preferably in F&B trading business
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, WMS, and SAP is a must
- Demonstrates clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
